BEST TOOTH COLORED FILLINGS IN GURGAON
Tooth colored fillings are an excellent alternative to metallic fillings. There are two kinds of tooth colored fillings namely Composites and Glass Ionomer. Dental Composite fillings are made up of a mixture of resin based materials which are set using a UV light source. These fillings provide the closest possible color match to your natural teeth.
Prior to the filling, the decayed or discolored tooth structure is carefully cleaned. The procedure does not usually require anesthesia and is painless. The shade of the tooth is recorded and corresponding filling shade is selected. The filling material is then placed in layers and carved to restore the natural shape of the tooth. The material is set using a blue UV light source. Finishing and polishing of the filling is finally performed and the entire procedure can many a times be completed in a single visit.
PAINLESS TOOTH EXTRACTION BY EXPERT DENTISTS
Extraction refers to the removal of a tooth from its socket in the bone. There are many reasons why tooth extraction may be necessary. The most common reason for is that the tooth is extensively decayed beyond the point of being restored by or due to advanced periodontal (gum) disease that has destroyed the bone that holds the tooth in as a result of which the tooth has become mobile and is no longer held firmly. Extractions are also performed on patients who require more space in the mouth for Orthodontic (braces) treatment. Extractions are also performed on teeth that are impacted, which means they fail to completely erupt in the arch. This is a common occurrence with wisdom teeth (third molars).
A complete medical history of the patient is first obtained. This includes any diseases or medications taken by the patient and any previous allergies. A consent from the patient’s physician may be required for some patients. Blood pressure and other vital parameters are also recorded. The dentist first numbs the affected tooth/ region of the jaw with local anesthesia and then performs the removal procedure.
